Blackstone River Valley NHC Park Map Synopsis: Preserves and interprets the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution. Note: Also extends into MA. Stamp Location: Stamp is available in Rhode Island at the Roger Williams NM, Woonsocket Depot (headquarters), Slater Mill VC (Pawtucket) and the Museum of Work and Culture (Woonsocket). See also Massachusetts for an additional stamp location. Roger Williams NM Synopsis: Park commemorates the life of early settler and religious freedom pioneer. Stamp Location: The stamp is available in the visitor center of the 4.5 acre park. From I-95 N or S, take the Downtown Exit; Turn left at the first light onto Francis St; Continue to the next traffic light (the State House will be right in front of you). Turn right onto Gaspee St. ;Turn right at the next light onto Smith St; Turn right at the next light onto Canal St; Cross the three traffic lanes on Canals St and immediately turn left into the Memorial parking lot. Touro Synagogue NHS Synopsis: Park helps preserve the oldest synagogue in the United States. Stamp Location: Stamp is available at the Synagogue loctaed at 72 Touro St in Newport.
